This
is the Debut album from Salinas rapper Yun-Gun released on 2 Face Entertainment
and produced by Yun-Gun.
It starts with one of the best tracks on the album, Dumpin Somethin Sic
featuring Sac Sin. Its a tight track with good verses from both Yun-Gun
and Sac Sin. A good start to the album.
Mr Kee makes an appearance on the tracks Gits No Love, How We Ride and
For The B.G's, he has dope verses on each track. Mr Kee makes some of
the best appearances on the album
The only solo track on the album is Mellow, it is one of the best tracks
on the album with tight flow and lyrics by Yun-Gun such as:
" I tried to tell him but he did'nt listen to probable cause,
Walkin around with a strap in his draws, got caught by them laws,
tried to holler gangsta gangsta, but your burning out your name
tattoos and bad dues, now police dont even have to ask you,
section 8 and incarcerated by the system, moving to the rhythmn,
and only open to the information giving,
to tie that bond is to tie you cant break,
quakes in Killa Cali are the chances we take,
the cost of high living, sicc in this accident prone
turn on the news, a family of five gets took out by a drinken driver,
heard the little homie took a bullet to the dome,
took his own life in his hands,
stressed out the game with no plan,
thats what im talking about, finding the solution to all this drama,
cause the head trauma's contagious like plagues in the middle ages,
like animals in cages, eat a cuss, strap, chain or the penitentiary,
so many niggas in the cemetary, any why not the libary"
Young
Droop make a good appearance on the track Deadly Desciples, he does the
hook and a verse. Other good track Catch U Slippin, G-Ride and Home Invasion
follow with good verses by Yun-Gun and the appearance with good beats
and chorus to the songs. X-Raided make a good appearance on the track
Bring The Pain with Dub. Sac Sin make another appearance on Crucified,
Yun-Gun and Sac Sin both have good verses. The albums finishes with a
tight track, One In The Chamber.
Overall
a tight album by Yun-Gun, with good appearances by Mr Kee, Young Droop,
X-Raided, Sac Sin and some of the others as well as good production from
Yun-Gun. I would of likes to see more solo tracks such as Mellow. I think
that is one of the best tracks on the album and maybe less appearances
would of been better as I think some of the tracks would of been better
without the appearances. Yun-Gun has a good voice, flow and lyrics, this
album is well worth getting.
Overall
: 7.8 / 10
