With a mix of tight beats and flows that reflect the reason that X-Raided is in prison, "Xorcist" is perhaps Raided's best album. The lyrics themselves reflect the gangsta life that eventually led to Raided's convinction of murder. Although the quality of Raided's voice is terrible because of the way it was recorded the beats are still good and the flows are nothing but great. With appearances by Brotha Lynch Hung, Sicx, Lunasicc, Hollow Tip and others Xorcist not only shows Raided's vision of gangsta, but a collection of Sacramento all-stars. Raided's dark image of a killer is emphasized through tracks like "Wit a Mask On" and "Liquor, Niggaz, Triggaz." Raided attempts to give his side of the story about his murder case with "Duece 5 to Life," which gives a convincing story of Raided's struggle to be aquitted of his murder charge. Lunasicc makes a name for himself with "Wanna Get High," which was written by Raided, but performed by Lunasicc himself. Despite being in prison Raided still lives the gangsta life through Xorcist. Possibly Raided's best! urite albums.
