Keak Da Sneak's third album, after going solo from 3x Krazy, called Hi-Tek, delivers a ton of great beats and lyrics that are worth the price of this cd. After listening to the cd once I liked it so much I must have played it out almost. Hi-Tek hits listeners with one tight beat after another. Keak's unique voice can't be mistaken as he flows about the essentials: drugs, alcohol, and sex. The tracks each feature a unique beat that has computer made ambiant sounds in the background. Along with the beats Keak flows about the gangsta life, talking about girls, drugs and of course the East Bay! Hi-Tek blows away Keak's previous albums, although his others still have their moments. "Here Comes Keak Da Sneak" is the best song on the album, but "Ichi Blop Blop," "Drank, Weed, Sex," Beat it Up" and "Blop Shit" are also great. With all these great elements Hi-Tek should reach good numbers, even outside the bay area rap scene.
