An album that had a lot of potential, but fell short for two superstar rappers.
Seeing what these two have done in the past I would have thought that they would
have put out an outstanding album. Of course their feud didn't help the debut
of the album what so ever. Despite the fact that it's a little disappointing
it is still a good album. There are plenty of guest stars to go around, the
beats are good and how could you go wrong with two of Sacs best? On an album
that has 20 tracks there are only really six notable tracks worth the price
of the CD. "Gangsta" has a great beat that fits C-Bo's slow style,
but has fast paced lyrics by Lynch. The track also features Kam. "Follow
My Lead" featuring Killa Tay & COS also has a good slow beat to it.
Killa Tay and C-Bo stand out on this track as Lynch disappoints here. "Flippin
Chiccens" solo by C-Bo has a good beat and great instrumental sound in
the background. "187 on a Hook" is by far the best track on the album.
It features Tech N9ne and he fits in perfectly. The track has a great beat,
great affects and great lyrics. All three superstars come tight on this track.
"Drunken Style" is a Brotha Lynch solo that has a background beat
from the Bruce Lee movie "Enter the Dragon." The only problem with
this track is that the beat has become way overused by so many rappers. "Don't
Stop" is the last good track on the album, featuring Yukmouth and Spice
1. It has a good beat and good lyrics. The track is basically an All-Star track
with four of raps best. Overall "Blocc Movement" could have been better,
but still has the essentials to make it a good album.
